May 3 - Sherman Oaks. The 33 mile version is our first of our weekly Cool Breeze Century training rides. Get started now for the Cool Breeze Century (Saturday August 16, 2008).

May 10-We have a few remote rides starting in Woodland Hills. These rides are a great way to get out of the Valley and explore areas that may be too far from CSUN.

May 17 - Castles & Roses. Another of our ever popular rides to Pasadena and the Rose Bowl. This ride takes us by many "Castles" in the area.

May 24 - Sierra Highway History - We have 3 rides that leave the Valley and head east on Sierra Highway. Generally climbing on the way out means mostly a fun descent on the way back.

June 1 - Easy In - A new short ride. Give it a try and see if you can figure out how I came up with the name.

June 8 - Mountain Bike Ride. Blasphemy you say! A MTB ride? Well it's about the easiest ride around (but you will climb-it is MOUNTAIN Biking). This ride is about 8 miles and all fire road. Any MTB will do. There will be nodropped riders. We'll even get coffee at the end. Give it a try. - Randy

WEDNESDAY IN WESTLAKE Dave Alexander, Daryl Alexander, Rich Testwuide, Harold Minden, Nancy Christensen, Gary Cohen, Michele Hebrank, Zo Egar and Andrew Resnick pose in front of the Corner Bakery in Westlake wearing vintage SFVBC jerseys. Even though they're old, they hold their shape pretty well (the jerseys, that is).
The Michael Dekel/Louis Garneau Official SFVBC jerseys are in, and all sizes except XXL are available.
Only $68 + shipping
